Watershed Management

Problem

Agricultural fertilizers resulting in contamination of water supply

Excessive fertilization & water consumption

Actions

Phase 1:

Drone-based spectrometry using near-IR and visible spectrum wavelengths
Torbidita; Chlorophyll A (Chl A); Dissolved organic carbon (DOC)
Data on the ratio Used land / Covered land
Surface assessment of water flows to identify watershed at risk

Phase 2:

Devices installed on-site in risk areas for monitoring and observation
Water quality, Temperature, turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), pH, Electrical Conductivity (EC)
Assessment of Nitrogen and Phosphorus require technicians in the field
Quality of the soi: Temperature, Humidity, Nitrogen/Phosphorus/Potassium (NPK), pH, Electrical Conductivity (EC)
Recording and forecasting precipitation
